This was a custom order. This squat Rhodesian shows some great grain all the way around and has gorgeous birdseye on the rim. It was fitted with a vulcanite flared extension that carries the lines of the shank through to the Lucite military mount stem. Drilling is spot on with a clear draw and it passes the cleaner test.
This pipe actually started out as a gift, but an interested party made an offer on it, and I could not pass it up. This was an Ebauchon block surprisingly enough, and I anticipated no straight grain at all. Just goes to show you that you never know what you will find inside a block of briar. It was accented with a Lucite ferrule and fitted with a military mount vulcanite stem.
